We believe that a well regulated Artisanal and Small Scale Mining (ASM) sector is an alternative source of livelihood for communities living in and around mineral rich areas.
ACEMP works with other stakeholders to engage government to formalize, legalize and regulate ASM in Uganda to gradually increase household income in rural-mining areas and ultimately reduce poverty.
