Promoting Responsible Mineral Supply Chains of Designated Conflict Minerals in Uganda

This project is jointly implemented with Optima Mines and Minerals Ltd, the Directorate of Geological Survey and Mines and National Planning Authority.

The Karamoja Resource Protection, Governance and Development Initiative

The project seeks to create a balance between pastoralism, agriculture and mining in the Karamoja Region and create a situation where none of those particular economic activities takes precedence over another.

This project seeks to improve the transparency and accountability of the extractives sector in Uganda by enhancing public participation in the exploitation of petroleum and mineral resources
